The Never Dead X Phantasm Australian Release Tee (1979 Vintage Artwork)

As we celebrate the 47th anniversary of Phantasm this week we remember when the film originally crossed the Pacific in 1979. At the time, Australian distributor Village Roadshow gave it a new name and what became one of the most sought-after alternate posters in horror history: THE NEVER DEAD!  

FOR THE FIRST TIME this tee faithfully and official reproduces that rare Australian one sheet for The Never Dead, complete with the iconic tagline: "If this one doesn't scare you… You're Already Dead!"

Featuring the original hand illustrated artwork of Mike battling The Tall Man's nightmarish world, this is a deep cut piece of Phantasm lore that most fans have never seen. Front printed with a vintage distressed finish on a heavyweight black cotton tee, with a small neck print detail.

Fun fact: the name was changed in Australia because there was an adult film title Fantasm making the rounds down under with a similar title. The distributor figured it was best to avoid that mix up.

A must own for Phans, horror collectors, and anyone who knows that the Tall Man never really dies!
